Things that I did in NHS

I was a student body reporter in the National Honor Society. My main task was to write articles related to school events, interviewing various people, and sharing various stories with our community. As my individual project, I designed layouts for our school newspaper. Some of them were collaborative projects created within my art club, while others were made individually. I also organized a design competition, and the winner’s work was featured on the newspaper cover.

I wrote an article featuring an interview with our principal, who leads and represents our school. Through this interview, I was able to learn about the principal’s values, mindset, and perspectives, which gave me a deeper understanding of the person who guides our school.

New Students in Elementary

As a reporter who interviews new students every semester, this time I wrote an article about the new elementary school students. I interviewed them about their hobbies, dreams, and favorite things, which became a great opportunity to get to know our younger friends better.

Since the first graders were too young to answer by themselves, I interviewed their teachers instead and learned about the classroom life that other students usually don’t get to see.
