Bleaching

To visualize personal internal confusion and instability, this painting rendered both
the figure and the background in a decolorized, subdued tone, creating a sense of
emptiness and absence. This work explores the emotional contradictions I
experience as a teenager, a girl, and a student, three identities that are often
marginalized in Korean society.
